| Charge to my own experience. mas maganda cguro kung mag umpisa ka sa pagpili ng tamang colubrid na aalagaan. since u are a newbie, pra s akin make some research about these snakes. well, mraming available s market ng ibat ibang uri ng snakes,. adviceable cguro ang mga katulad neto...wolf snake, garter snake, house snake, water snakes. and the likes. they are non-venomous at mrami nyan d2 s atin. snake family such as boidae and pythonidae is not adviceable pa pra s inyo. just stick to the basics muna. try having those that ive given you as a start-up s pagpasok mo s mundo ng mga ahas. then syempre you have to research on them. paunti unti. alamin ang lahat ng pasikot sikot s pag aalaga. from their husbandry, diet, hygiene. and care sheets n rin. hope this enlighten you a bit. |

| This is a follow-up answer po dun s nauna kong reply. after having done your homework about these small colubrids. then you can venture n sa mas malaking uri nila.. like,..king snakes, pede n ball pythons, rat snakes, corn, pueblan milk. and the likes. prang pumapasok ka s school nyan. you start up as grade 1...and process going on and on dumarami ang kaalaman mo about them. so you can venture now s mas malaking uri nila.. until you reach your goal. and decides which species of the family will you be focusing on. syempre wag kakalimutan ang matiyagang pag aaral tungkol s lahat ng ahas n dadaan s kamay mo. importanteng malaman mo lahat ng tungkol s knila to the tiniest thing...lalo n sa mga sakit n maari nilang makuha at ang tamang paraan ng pag gagamot. hope this will guide you somehow sa tamang paraan ng pag aalaga. just my two cents po. |

yes. experts recommend taking out the mice and returning it in the bin after the snake has shed (and presumably reacquired its appetite). this is because the mice may bite the snake (as odd as that may sound). |
