Very Happy

For me there's no such thing as a "newbie T" as long as you've done extensive research at you're the type na hindi pa-uso lang. Though opinion ko lang yan and I know maraming mag-didisagree sakin. Very Happy

Anyway, kabilang ang A. geniculata sa mga first Ts ko nung nagsimula ako last year, and masasabi ko na isa to sa mga pinaka-madaling alagaan (I've raised 3 from slings since last year pa) kasi super aggressive sila towards their prey. Smile

I agree, a geniculata would make a good first T, they're fast growing (so hindi nakakatamad intayin, which is the case for a lot of newbies), and they're cheap. Just start with slings, do your research and you'll be fine.

I also suggest L Parahybana, GBB, G Pulchripes, G Pulchra, Aphonopelma's.

thumbs up

+1 to caucasus...ang isa benefit ng genic para sa newbies eh yun appetite.. sarap nila pakainin.. hindi tumatanggi (except pag premolt).. and since newbie ako, isa sa mga inaanticipate ko yun.. yung feeding frenzy..

saka docile naman sila, pwede mong isama sa work.. heheh..

isa din sa mga unang T's ko yang Genic..Aggre talaga, sarap pakainin! kahit butog na butog na minsan, kumakain pa din...madali palakihin, maganda...wag nga lang msyadong hawakan kasi they are notoriously known to (censored) hairs when threaten tsaka they have the tendency to bite...sabi nga ni tarantula guy; "this T eats everything that moves" Very Happy

Question Question Question
1. How fast is a fast grower po na genic?
Un original size po nun genic ko nun kinuha ko around 1-1.25 cm. 2 months na po sakin and ng molt palang once then estimate size po nya ngyn is around 1.5cm.

Helo Bro, I have 2 genic, which i bought last 06/27/11.
yun 1st I got for about 2 instar (now 2.5 inches)
and 2nd is about 3.0 cm (now 4.5 -5.0 inches in heavy premolt as of today hopefully mga 5.5 to 6 inches before mag DEC 15.)

1. How fast is a fast grower po na genic?
ev

Hope this help.. thumbs up

Paki correct nalang po mga master..

please don't mislead people, in general, a. genic are semi-defensive and nervous or worst, they even (censored) alot, but there are some exceptions, every ts have its own characteristic. They are NOT docile.
