PostSubject: beginner tarantula   Mon Jul 16, 2012 3:10 pm

thru my research eto yung mga pang beginners:

1) Mexican red knee (B. Smithi) - slow growing? {5-6"}
2) Mexican red rump (B. vagans) - {5-6"}
3) Chaco golden stripped knee - good appetite {6-8"}
4) Brazilian Pink Tarantula (L/ Parahybana) - 3rd ata sa biggest tarantula {8-10"}

lahat yan the best. hahaha. lahat madali ding alagaan. walang problem kahit hindi sila native satin. meron ako lahat nyan eh.

B. albopilosum, B. smithi, B. auratum, B. albiceps, B. klaasi, G. pulchripes, G. pulchra, C. fasciatum, N. chromatus, then kuha ka C. darlingi para mag enjoy ka magpakain kasi kinakain nila yung mga food na mas malaki sa kanila ng konti, regarding on the sizes if you dont have a hard time feeding them get 2cm + para di masyadong maliliit na roaches ipapakain mo

they are both flickers but if you are choosing between the two go for boehmie because the molt interval of B. emilia is too long baka mainip ka medyo makunat yan sometimes they do hunger strike Good Luck

Kung gusto mo ng malaki and medio docile, you can try L. parahybana, A. geniculata or N. chromatus.

+ 1 ako kay sir vacuum mas ok ung boehmei kase good eater un,

grammies ok din . good Luck !

^uu nga medio defensive ang genic and chroma pero good for beginners din for being a hardy sp. Since madami namang packages available na mura like 5-7pcs for 1k, get a combination of slow and fast growing Ts para hindi ka mainip. I started with boehmi smithi and albo before and you'll only see significant coloration paglaki nila ng 2" except for albo kse wala naman yun striking colors Very Happy

wag naman lahat ng brachys kunin mo kuhain mo lang yung gusto mo kumbaga kukuha ka pa lang ng experience how to take care of them,take note even they are docile they tend to bite especially when they are bothered just like my chaco,smithi,klaasi haha nilulundag nila yung chopstick na gngmit ko para kunin yung uneaten food sa enclosure so konting ingat lang din bro,at 2cm pataas kunin mong sling para di ka masyado hirap magpakain dagdag ka darlingi sa collection mo para may konting pampagana habang nag uumpisa ka sa hobby Very Happy

O ayan dami mo ng advice. It's only a matter of re-arranging your options. Reminder lang sprinter ang Darlingi but a voracious eater. Yung sling ko ngaun 1cm pero khit ksing laki nya ung crix eh lulundagan nya tlga parang play fetch Very Happy

maraming salamat sir kizzmalip, sir vacuum, sir blaize

i agree na dapat 2cm pataas kasi yung ibang seller the advertise 2cm pero pagkuha mo ayun wala pang 1.5cm (DSL).

na-a-adik na ako dito hahaha. kahit lahat ng T's ko wala pang 1inch gusto ko bumili pa. hehehe. albo, smithi at boehmi (as per all you suggestions) ang pinagpipilian ko.
